Hangover: The next day.

Drink water and fluids.

  • Drink water and fluids.
    Alcohol inhibits the release of antidiuretic hormone, increases diuresis, and causes dehydration. Nausea, diarrhea, and sweating exacerbate it.
  • Eat something rich in carbohydrates.
    Excessive alcohol consumption lowers blood sugar levels. It's possible that your headache is due to hypoglycemia.
  • drink a coffee or a tea
    It's a stimulant and will boost your energy, but don't overdo it because it's also a diuretic, and we've mentioned that you're dehydrated
  • Don't drink alcohol again.
    What foreigners call 'hair of the dog' is not a good solution.
  • Come to the pharmacy.
    Take ibuprofen (Algofren/Nurofen/Brufen), vitamin B6 from the B complex, and electrolytes. Avoid taking Depon/Panadol/Apotel/Aspirin that you have at home, as the former metabolize in your already stressed liver, and the latter irritates your already sensitive stomach.
  • Go back in time
    Eat well before consuming alcohol.
  • Prefer light-colored drinks like gin or vodka over dark-colored ones like red wine, whiskey, or dark beer. Dark-colored drinks are more likely to contain additives that worsen the hangover.
